Taking Your Skills Test Centre Exam in Person

Checking In

You must arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time for both the written examination (if offered at a test center) and for the skills evaluation. If you are late, you will not be allowed to test, and your fees will not be refunded.
If you missed your written examination and are scheduled for a skills evaluation, please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Skills Evaluation test times are approximate.

Note: You will need to check in for both the written examination and the skills evaluation if both are scheduled for the same day.

Requirements for Skill Exam

You should have the following list of items below for the skill exam.

Two (2) forms of official (current, not expired), legible, signature-bearing identification, one of which must be photo identification.
Three (3) No. 2 pencils (sharpened).
Eraser.
Analog watch with a sweeping seconds hand (not a digital or Smartwatch). No other materials will be allowed.
All examinations, necessitate the Proctor/Evaluator to utilize a mobile device for scanning your identification and capturing a photo. This data is securely saved within Credentia’ s software, serving as a safeguard in case there arises any doubt regarding the individual who was administered the exam.

ID Card Requirements

You are required to have two (2) forms of official ID with a signature (One form of identification must be a U.S. government issued Social Security (SS) card, signed, and not laminated.).

A second form of identification must be any of the items listed below and must be photo-bearing:

U.S. Government Issued Driver’s license
State-issued identification card
Passport
Alien registration card
Georgia- Issued Voter ID Card
Georgia Temporary Driver’s License
Signed Photo High School I.D. (for high school students)
Signed Photo University I.D. (for university students)
U.S. issued Photo Bearing Signed Military I.D.
Certificate of Naturalization

The name on your identification must be the same as the name you used on the application to register for the examination.

If you do not have proper identification, you will not be allowed to take the test and your examination fee will not be refunded. If you cannot take the test because of this, it still counts as one of your three attempts -please have the correct forms of identification.

Note: Photocopies of identification will not be accepted.

Security and Cheating

If you help or receive help from anyone during the NNAAP® Examination, the examination will be stopped. The incident will be reported to the Georgia Department of Health for review and your examination will not be scored (see Testing Policies).

Anyone who removes or tries to remove examination material or information from the test center will be prosecuted.
